Algerian Defensive midfielder , Nabil Bentaleb could be cashed on in the summer by Mauricio Porchettino's Tottenham, if their £10million valuation of the player is met by any interested club.
Bentaleb became a regular in the 2013/2014 season under former manager Tim Sherwood before been used intermittently by Porchettino. The Algerian international had formed a defensive partnership understanding with Ryan Mason shortly before he lost his place to Eric Deir who also can play central defence and as a right-back. This season, the Algerian has been injured and has seen started only five games. At 21, the player currently earns more than both Harry Kane and Dele Alli who have been impressive of late for the North London club. This was after he signed an improved five-year deal last summer.
This season , the Tottenham academy graduate have suffered an ankle injury which kept him out of action for three months before suffering another knee ligament injury which he is yet to recover from.
The reason for the purported sale is due to the abundance of quality Tottenham has in the centre of midfield with the likes of Moussa Dembele, Tom Carroll, Eric Deir and Ryan Mason presently ahead of him in the pecking order.
