Food Is Ready Politician And Former Bauchi State Governor (Isa Yuguda) Dumps PDP

The Immediate past Bauchi State governor , Mallam Isah Yuguda finally has dumped the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) after ruling the northern state for eight years under the PDP. The governor has revealed he decided to dump the political party because it lacked the political will to bring development to Nigeria.

Also amongst his reason was that he lost focus in the leadeship of the party and the manner of it's loss in last years general elections. Yuguda made this known saying, "I will consult with my supporters before u decide on the party to move to, but I am still in politics, big no longer in PDP . I have already told my supporters that I will not force them to leave the PDP.

"Anyone that wants to remain  in PDP  is free to do so and anyone that wants to move with me is welcome."

This is not in any way a shock as Yuguda was formerly in the PDP and was at a time the minister of Aviation during President Olusegun Obasanjo's government, he moved to the Then ANPP in order to contest the Bauchi gubernatorial election after the PDP declined making him it's flag bearer. Yuguda won the election but again cross-carpeted to the PDP , decrying the ANPP and calling it names. It is not therefore surprising that after losing out in a bid to annoit his  successor, the former banker has found his way out of the same party he praised in the past.
