Eden Hazard's purported move to Real Madrid in the summer has been blocked by Russian billionaire and Chelsea owner Roman Abrahmovich, Spanish news outlet Don Balon reports.
This is because there appears is no club ready
to meet the Russian's valuation of the 25-year-old former Lille player who was signed for £32 million in 2012.
PSG and Real Madrid are the two clubs rumoured to be interested in the winger who won the PFA Player of the Season. Hazard suffered a slump in form this season and scored his first league goal in 27 games (a double) last week in a 4-1 demolition of Bournemouth at Dean Court.
The winger has been troubled with an ankle injury that has seen him play through injury and appears to be peaking at the right moment with the 2016 Euro's in France in the summer. Hazard is currently valued at £50million , a price that neither PSG or Real Madrid appears ready to meet.
Dutch coach Guus Hiddink praised the Belgian after the game saying , "He is one of the few players who has this vision .
"He knows he can execute what he's creating and he's very effective. But there has to be a good balance of players around him in the team", he concluded.
