Barcelona Plan £15 Million Swoop For Leicester City Or Southampton Goalkeeper.

According to The Sun, Luis Enrique's Barcelona are interested in signing Leicester City's high flying Danish goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel for £15 million in the summer to replace German Marc-Andre Ter Stegen who has been rumoured to be interested in a link-up
with Pep Guardiola in Manchester  City next season after growing frustrated with a lack of first team action in Camp Nou.

Ter Stegen who was signed in 2014 from Borussia Mochenglabach is second choice to Chilean Claudio Bravo who was signed the same summer from Real Betis. While Bravo is preferred in La Liga, Ter Stegen plays in Cup competitions (Copa de Rey and Champions League) for the current La Liga champions .

Ter Stegen who is the German national team second choice behind Bayern Munich's Manuel Nuer has refused to commit his future to the club and instead said "At the end I the season we will see what the situation is, and we will talk again then Ok?

" We have so many games at the moment, and that is all I ca say for now.

"For me the most important thing is to play well, and that we will all our games. Barcelona is an incredible team and I cannot say any more. We will see how it all turns out ". Ter Stegen played all last season's matches in the Champions League and Copa de Rey which Barcelona won, while Bravo was in goal in La Liga which Barcelona went on to lift at the end of last season.

Schmeichel on his own has been rock solid as Leicester tops the Premier League with seven points above second placed Tottenham who have a game in  hand and with three games to go . The Dane has kept 14 clean sheets this season.

Also in consideration  is Southampton's Three Lions Second choice goalkeeper Fraser Foster who is dubbed "La Gran Muralla-The Great Wall" after his impressive display in an unlikely 2-1 victory of Celtic over Barcelona in 2012 Champions League Group phase.
