Louis Van Gaal In Talks With Werder Bremen.

By Ewah Chika.

Former Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is presently in talks with Werder Bremen to replace sacked coach Viktor Skrypnyk according to Hamburg Abendblatt.

Van Gaal had earlier said in 2014 after taking over in Manchester United that the club will be his last as he was going to retire at the expiration of his three years contract but it seems his sacking by the North West club has left a bitter taste and experience in his memory that he has decided to give coaching another shot.
The Dutch man will try to repair his tarnished image in Bremen if appointed the same way he did in AZ Alkmaar winning the Dutch Eredivisie against all odds beating traditional big clubs Ajax and PSV after returning home to Netherlands, when fired by Catalan giants Barcelona. Van Gaal's appointment will be a major coup by Bremen considering the impeccable resume of the Dutchman which includes winning the Champions League, Dutch League, Spanish La Liga, German Bundesliga,  German League Cup and FA Cup in his career.

Bremen are rock bottom of the Bundesliga league table  after losing all their four league games so far with a goal difference of -11, which is reminiscent of their last season's struggle which saw them lucky to escape relegation towards the season end.

Van Gaal's renowned philosophy of playing possession football will suit Bremen coupled with his insistence of playing reserve and youth players having being credited with nurturing and helping the likes of Thomas Muller, Marcus Rashford, Kanu Nwankwo, Clearance Seedorf , Timothy Fosu Mensah and Jesse Lingaard.

For now nothing is certain yet as media outlets await the confirmation of the "Philosopher" as Werder Bremen's new manager.
