Celebrity CCTV- Davido: And The Baby Mama Show Goes On

While Nigerian's were busy celebrating yuletide the same cannot be said of the immediate and extended family of Mr David Adeleke popularly known as Davido by his fans. Davido was embroiled in a messy fight with his
baby mama (Sophie Momodu) bothering on issues of baby kidnap. While the actions of the Nigerian Immigration staff at the Murtala Muhammed Airport Lagos should be commended for confiscating the passports of both Davido's Younger Sister who fronted as the babys mother and the baby.

What is sad is that it is highly regrettable that Davido claims to love his daughter immensenly but went ahead to call her mother/baby mama several indecent names on social media ie butt sucking and also implying she is out to drain him materially. It did not end there, as Sophie was made to look like an infamous wild lady who is known for being intimate with several men before and after their short lived relationship. While Sophie or her Uncle Dele Momodu have not come out to defend her private life, it is very bad of Davido to have insulted and cursed the very mother of a baby he professes he loves not just privately but in public, worse still social media. In future, how will the poor girl be known and addressed " Daughter of a Wild mother" ? While no one is denying the fact Davido might have been younger than Sophie, trying to shy away from responsibility of his actions doesn't speak well of him. At 21 years, he was far above 18 or 16 which appears to be the age of consent and knew quite well what he was getting into with this now "Gold Digger". The law is an ass and no respecter of persons, so if Davido feels his baby was intoxicated from the marijuana of her mother during breast feeding, he should hurriedly seek redress in the court of law and seek custody of his baby, instead of seeking cheap publicity from naïve and gullible fans on social media.

While it has not yet been proven that Sophie is making astronomical demands from Davido's family on account of been the mother of their baby, if proven such acts should be condemned and she be cut to size. It only serves as a lesson to young men who want to cut corners and not follow the God and societal accepted way of marriage.

The bottom line is that baby mama and baby father is alien to our rich african culture no matter how it is glorified and practiced by the youths of the digital age, one only has to face the ugly consequences when it starts rearing its ugly head in the near future.
