Sam Alladycee Is At It Again In Sunderland.

Few words would match the word "Serenity" when used to emphasize the feeling of the fans of North East Club Sunderland after it became public that Sam Alladycee was the replacement for departed Dutch man Dick Advocaat. Alladycee is one of the top managers
of English football, having led Bolton Wanderers from the Championship to the EPL, the UEFA Cup group stage and League Cup finals during his time there. Alladycee has also previously worked in Newcastle, Blackburn and West Ham with a distinction of always ending the season at the top half. With an unbalanced team and having the likes of John O'Shea, Wes Brown, Younnes Kaboul and Billy Jones, one doesn't need to look far to see the reasons for the teams failures this season. Gaining a mere 3 points from a possible 24 after 8 games, Sunderland has suddenly garnered 6 points from a possible 12 in Alladycee's nwe spell . Building his team around a solid backline and a midfield difficult to penetrate, with the team more reliant on dead balls and counter attack, Sunderland are gradually been crafted to suit Alladycee's tactics. With tricky and experienced attackers in Jermaine Lens, Jermaine Defoe and Adam Johnson, Sunderland can trouble any team on their day. Having beaten their noisy neibours 3-0 (Newcastle) and played brillantly in the first half of their 6-2 loss against Everton last week, it was no surprise that South London side Crystal Palace were stunned on Monday night by them. Jermaine Defoe was the hero of the night but more praise should go to the English coach for turning things around so quickly. With their next three games against inconsistent Stoke and Arsenal before Watford, West Ham might be forgiven for already dreaming  of 4 points. With the qualities of M'Villa and Lee Cattermole, Alladycee boast a defensive shield envied by many and with the forward runs of Patrick Van Aanholt and Yedlin, opposition teams had better be warned. Alladycee has never gone on relegation and works perfectly with limited budget though his style of play might suggest its not the most attractive as David Gold and David Sullivan found out in West Ham, but what Alladycee guarantees is punching above the weight for his teams. What should be rather occupy the minds of Sunderland fans is if their team will finish in the top half or bottom half as relegation under Alladycee might be a false prediction going by records and statistics. It will not happen overnight but Sunderland is surely on the rise, ask Bolton Wanderers.
